Terms of Service
These terms cover dashcollective.app and the rest of Dash Collective (“Dash,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, signing in, RSVPing, buying a ticket, or otherwise using Dash, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Who can use Dash
You represent that you are old enough to make a contract. If you use Dash for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization too.
Accounts
Signing in does not create a ticket. A phone login sends a one-time code to the number you entered. Do not share that code. Google sign-in opens the account for the email Google confirms. That is the same account as an emailed sign-in link for that address.
You are responsible for the devices and numbers you use to sign in. Keep your profile information accurate enough that we can reach you about tickets and events.
Events, RSVPs, and the guest list
Hosts create and run events on Dash. Guests RSVP, buy tickets, or both. Hosting an event is not the same as attending it.
A guest list may show names and profile photos to people who are Going or who host that event. Signed-out visitors and people who are not Going do not get the real list. Emails, phone numbers, and ticket codes stay off the public page.
Private events stay locked until a host invites you or you have another grant we recognize. An invitation is not a ticket and is not an RSVP.
Tickets and refunds
A ticket is for the event named at checkout. The price is the price shown before you pay. We use Stripe to process payment. We do not store your full card number.
An extra seat you buy is its own ticket. An extra seat on the same email as you is a guest on your account, not a second Dash user.
All sales are final unless the event is cancelled. If the event is cancelled, we refund what you paid for that ticket. A date change is not a cancellation unless we say the event is cancelled. Do not copy, resell, or reuse a ticket as extra admissions.
A ticket does not guarantee entry if the host or venue refuses admission for a lawful reason, or if you cannot show the pass.
Photos, video, and other content
You keep what you upload. You give Dash permission to store it and show it on that event. Only people who are Going or who host that event may add photos or video there. You may delete what you uploaded.
Do not post anything you do not have the right to post, or anything illegal, harassing, or meant to break the product. We may remove content or close an account that breaks these terms.
Texts and email
By creating an account or continuing past sign-in, you agree we may text and email you about Dash Collective, including event updates and offers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a Dash text to opt out of those messages. You can also email [email protected].
Login codes are not marketing. STOP does not block a login code you ask for.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, probe, or overload Dash.
- Do not impersonate someone else or mint extra accounts to dodge a block.
- Do not use Dash to send spam.
Our role
Dash is the product. Hosts and venues are responsible for what happens at the event, including safety and who they admit. Except for the refund when an event is cancelled, Dash is provided as is, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Texas law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court has to hear a dispute, it will be in Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. If you keep using Dash after an update, you agree to the new terms.
